This is the Updated Map of the course at UVIC.  The long teepads are marked in red, the short tee pads are marked in blue.

The UVIC Disc Golf course is located in Victoria, BC Canada near the intersection of Cedar HIll Crossroad and Cadboro Bay Rd.  It is located on a unique peice of land in Mystic Vale and is maintained by the University of Victoria.

When playing disc golf at this course, it is wise to be aware that the area is mixed use and is also an off-leash dog area.  So there are usually many dogs and people.  The dogs are generally well behaved, and seem to know not to chew on our discs, but best be prepared and careful.

The course starts on the southwest corner of the property, at the point closest to the road.  There are a couple marker signs and the teeboxes for hole 1. The basket is located in the orchard, behind the first two rows of trees.

The teebox for hole 2 is in the orchard, to the right of hole 1, marked by a well worn trail.  The basket is located in the orchard about 60 feet in front of the huge oak tree.  Its easier to imagine you are aiming near the oak tree.  Be careful not to get your disc in the Forest Biology area behind the fences, becuase you will have to call them up to retreive it.  Please DO NOT climb the fences.

The teebox for hole 3 is located near the fence, by the sign for the Forest Ecology center, near the gravel road.  The basket for #3 was recently moved due to ongoing dirt storage for the landscaping going on at UVIC.  We improvised and cut two new teepads near the fence.  Be careful to avoid the building, the ivy on the building, and the various evergreen trees.  WATCH OUT for the blackberries, and for the tall laurel tree, they are relentless and will swallow your discs.  Be prepared for the worst and wear shoes and long legged pants.  The hole is located in a pit behind the first clump of scotch broom, but before the black berries get too think. Tip:  throw towards the dirt pile.

The teebox for hole 4 is located about 20 feet in front of the concrete building, in the dirt.  You are aiming for the bottom of the hilly shrub area, about 50 feet to the right of the scientific gadgets.  Again, be careful of the blackberries.  There are wasps living in the gravel allover the place, so beware!

The teebox for hole 5 is on the trail about 40 feet from the basket for #4, and the short position is in the sand pit about 80 feet towards the #5 basket.  Watch out for the thornbushes and tall grass, becuase you are aiming for the basket on the far side of the shrubby area.  You can't see the basket.

The teebox for hole 6 is in the grass and you are aiming for the basket which is barely visible in a pit on the shrubby mound.

The teebox for hole 7 is back in the grassy area, and this is a good long drive towards the far side of the orchards.

The teeboxes for hole 8 and 9 are in the orchard.
