We are holding doubles every Sunday at 1:00 at the UVIC Disc Golf Course. The first event took place on Nov 11, where we flipped our discs to make teams: Zyre and Rylen vs Mark and Steve.

The game was close for the first 9, with Zyre pulling out several really powerful drives and midrange shots to make a few birdies, and finish the first nine at -3.

The second round was a close game, with both teams maintaining a tight race for finish.  The final score after 18 holes was

Steve/Mark: -5
Rylen/Zyre: -4

The second UVIC Doubles tournament was held on the same day as the Grey Cup Doubles in Comox, and also at the same time as a private disc golf party for Andrew in Salt Spring, so there was a small turnout today.  We had a good round of 18, with the pairs being Mark + Zyre, and Pierce + Steve.  The score after 18 holes was:

Steve/Pierce: -5
Mark/Zyre: 0

So far Steve is the undefeated doubles champ.  See you next week!
