Now that summer is here and there is alot of activity at the Bowen Course, we are going to be doing weekly Monday night doubles starting at 6:30.  Please show up at 6:30 to get into the roster.  We plan on doing one round of 18 holes, followed by an optional skins match for the next 18 depending on the number of players. 

Alternates will be played where provided, and the mando on Basket 3 of course.  If we don't have enough players for doubles, we will switch to a skins match.

The cost for doubles is 2$.  Skins are 25 cents a piece (making a skins match cost $4.50 if you don't claim any). The Ace Pot is 1$ and is currently at 5$.

So far it looks like we will have a dozen players regularly, so even if you don't think you are good enough to play tournaments, you may love doubles!  It is a cheap, easy way to learn from players that are better than you, and to work together taking the best shot to line up for your partner to clinch the birdie every time and take home the gold!

Doubles is a semi-competitive game where the two players on each team work together to place the shots and follow up, taking the best shot each time.
